The Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA have fired head coach Doc Rivers.
The 76ers announced the resignation of coach Rivers on the 17th (Korean time). The announcement came two days after being eliminated in Game 7 of the conference semifinals by losing 88-112 to the Boston Celtics.
Rivers led Philadelphia with a 154-82 record over his last three seasons. The season won 54, the most since 2000-01, and was one of three teams in the top 10 for both offensive and defensive efficiency.

According to ‘ESPN’, the manager who has set such a record for at least 16 consecutive seasons is second only to Greg Popovich (1997-2019), Phil Jackson (1989-2011)먹튀검증, Pat Riley (1981-2001), and Jerry Sloan (1988-2004) in league history. Due to Rivers’ sacking, the number of teams with vacancies as manager has increased to a total of five teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors, and Detroit Pistons, followed by Philadelphia.
Philadelphia is planning to start looking for a new manager right away. ESPN reported that Mike Burdenholzer, Sam Cassell, Mike D’Antoni, Nick Nurse, Frank Vogel, and Monty Williams are on the rise.
