Holloway holds the UFC featherweight records for most wins (19), most finishes (10), and most strikes landed (3366). Now, he’s looking to get another shot at the title by defeating legendary “Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung.
Chan Sung “The Korean Zombie” Jung (17-7-1, South Korea) is a creative grappler who has long been a fan favorite for his hard-hitting striking. During his long career, he has wowed fans with explosive finishes over Frankie Edgar, Dennis Bermudez, and Dustin Poirier, resulting in two title challenges. Now, Chung is gearing up for an explosive showdown with top-ranked Holloway.
Former UFC light heavyweight title challenger No. 8 ranked Anthony “Ryan Hart” Smith (36-18-1, Omaha, Nebraska, USA) will be looking to defend his ranking. Smith, who has finished 34 of his 36 victories, has established himself as one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC with wins over Alexander Gustafsson, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Rashad Evans. Now he’ll look to take down Spann once again.
No. 10 ranked Ryan ‘Superman’ Spann (21-8, Beaumont, Texas, USA) is looking to extend his record of 15 first-round finishes to 16. The Season 2 alum of Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) quickly moved into the top 10 at light heavyweight with wins over Antonio Jorgeiro Nogueira, Sam Albee, Misha Circunov, and Dominic Reyes. Now, he’ll look to avenge his first-round loss to Smith and move up the rankings.
