Korea Volleyball Association selects 16 men’s volleyball representatives with the goal of ‘generation change’

The Korea Volleyball Association confirmed and announced 16 ‘national team training list’ in preparation for the 2023 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Challenger Cup men’s volleyball tournament.

The players included in the national team’s training list started training at the Jincheon National Training Center on the 1st바카라사이트.

The 4th Asian Challenger Cup will be held in Taipei, Taiwan from July 8-15.

The topic of the Korean national team led by coach Lim Do-heon is ‘generational change’.

Korea’s best setter Han Seon-seon (37, Korean Air) and middle blocker Shin Young-seok (36, KEPCO) were left out of the national team.

Instead, Hwang Taek-eui (27, KB Insurance) and Kim Myung-gwan (25, Hyundai Capital), two setters in their 20s, were summoned to the national team training.

The middle blockers that Shin Young-seok was missing included Kim Gyu-min (32), Kim Min-jae (20, Korean Air), Kim Jun-woo (23, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance), Park Jun-hyeok (26), and Lee Sang-hyun (24, Woori Card).

The two libero positions were filled by Park Gyeong-min (23, Hyundai Capital) and Oh Jae-seong (31, Woori Card).

Apposite spiker Heo Soo-bong (25, Hyundai Capital), Lim Dong-hyuk (24, Korean Air), outside heater Kim Ji-han (23, Woori Card), Na Gyeong-bok (29, KB Insurance), Lim Seong-jin (24, KEPCO), Jeong Han-yong ( 21, Korean Air) and Hwang Gyeong-min (27, KB Insurance) also joined the national team.

All wing strikers are in their 20s. The Korean men’s volleyball team’s willingness to change generations was revealed from the national training list.
