‘Korean Express’ Park Chan-ho (50) will participate as a player in the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour Shinhan Donghae Open (total prize money of 1.4 billion won) to be held next month.
Shinhan Financial Group, which hosts the tournament, announced on the 16th that Park Chan-ho will participate as an invited player in the event, which will be held at Club 72 Ocean Course (par 72, 7204 yards) in Incheon Yeongjong Island for four days from the 7th of next month.
Park Chan-ho is a “major league pioneer” who holds the record for the most wins by an Asian player with 124 wins in the American professional baseball Major League (MLB).
After participating in the Woori Finance Championship in May and the SK Telecom Open in June, he will be competing in a professional tournament for the first time in a year and three months.
