Overseas field training for 6 promising winter athletes, including Shin Ji-ah and Choi Ga-on

The 2018 Pyeongchang Memorial Foundation announced on the 29th that it will select three promising figures and three promising snowboarders to conduct special training in preparation for the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games메이저놀이터.

In figure skating, Jia Shin, silver medalist at the World Junior Championships, Minsol Kwon, silver medalist at the Junior Grand Prix, and Ah-sun Yoon, a promising figure skater, were selected. In snowboarding, Choi Ga-on, who won the X Games and Dew Tour, and Kim Kun-hee, a promising half-pipe player, were selected.

Figure skaters leave for training in Japan and Canada. Shin Ji-ah goes to Chiba Prefecture, Japan, and Kwon Min-sol and Yoon Ah-sun leave for Toronto, Canada next month to train for about three weeks.

Snowboard Choi Ga-on is from mid-May in Mammoth Mountain, California, USA, and Kim Gun-hee, who has emerged as a promising half-pipe player, will leave for Gifu Prefecture, Japan, for three weeks of training early next month.

Figure skater Jia Shin said, “I am very happy to have been given the opportunity to play winter special field training.”

Snowboard Choi Ga-on said, “I’m trying to get the best possible results by focusing on my pipe skills in the Play Winter special field training.”

Seung-min Yoo, chairman of the 2018 PyeongChang Memorial Foundation, said, “We will support promising athletes so that they can achieve excellent results.”
